Exciting Summer Updates to Reading Plus We are releasing some exciting new features to Reading Plus this summer.
A re-imagined Student Dashboard will help students make connections between work in Reading Plus and their educational experience. The redesigned Student Dashboard will help celebrate student achievements and will also help students understand where they are and where they need to go.
We are bringing new technology into the Teacher Dashboard and the Administrator Dashboard to help educators carry out their workflows within the Dashboard. Imagine having a helper right at your side, showing you exactly where to click on every screen, should you decide to perform a function such as adjusting a student’s rate, for example. Starting in the fall, when you click on the “?” in the upper right corner of any screen, you will be able to access some powerful assistance!
We are making a change to terminology. Students will no longer be reported as “suspended” in SeeReader if they struggle to earn consistent comprehension scores of 80% or higher. Rather, teachers will receive Struggling Alerts that inform them about any students who are temporarily “on hold” in SeeReader due to low comprehension scores. The process of releasing the hold will be the same, so the shift is in terminology only.
Teachers in schools that do not utilize single-sign-on services (such as Clever) will soon be able to create their own Classes within the Teacher Dashboard.
